Your First Visit

Thank you for choosing Vance Dentistry! We are excited to meet you and address your dental needs. When you become a patient of Vance Dentistry, you become a member one of the best dental practices in the Cincinnati area.

We understand visits can be intimidating, but we are here to provide comfortable dental care for you and your family. Here’s what you should expect upon your first visit to our Milford dental office.

The moment you walk through our doors, one of our friendly team members will greet you with a smile. If you haven’t filled out our initial paperwork prior to your appointment at our Milford dental office, we will take a moment to gather your insurance and health history information.

Upon getting comfortable in our state of the art dental chairs, an X-ray examination of your mouth and jaw will be taken. This X-ray process is an important part of providing a complete diagnosis and will enable our team to provide you with the best dental care.

Next, one of our dental hygienists will perform a teeth cleaning and take a quick look at the state of your oral health.

After your cleaning is complete, Dr. Vance will perform a thorough dental examination, including an evaluation of gum health, possible tooth decay, and a TMJ evaluation if necessary. At this time, Dr. Vance can also address any questions about cosmetic dental work, or any other concerns you may have.

If Dr. Vance discovers the need for a treatment plan, our friendly front desk staff will provide a pre-treatment estimate of all recommended services, as well as an explanation of treatment fees, and the time involved to complete each suggested treatment.

If your first visit to Dr. Vance’s office is for a dental emergency, Dr. Vance and his team will make every effort to ease your discomfort and resolve the problem that day.

Visits to our comfortable Milford dental office are scheduled by appointment only. Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. Our team will make a sincere effort to be on time and we ask the same of our patients.

If an appointment cannot be kept, we greatly appreciate adequate notification to reschedule your dental visit.

To save time, please print and fill out our patient form prior to your initial appointment. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at your earliest convenience.
